Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Support budget forecasting and variance analysis for Virginia clients
- Collaborate with tax teams for quarterly filings and year-end reporting
- Lead month-end closing procedures with accurate journal entries
- Develop financial models for strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong knowledge of Virginia and Nebraska tax regulations
- Proven experience in financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
