Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for 15+ clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly filings and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and Xero accounting systems with daily backups
- Develop customized financial models for client forecasting and budgeting needs
- Lead training sessions for junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive experience
- CPA or active pursuit of certification (verified continuing education credits)
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% reconciliation error rate in previous roles
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
