Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and client invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and by deadlines.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget and forecast models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
