Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations monthly.
- Provide financial reporting support to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
