Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist in the budgeting process, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Oversee the month-end close procedures and audit requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
