Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and archives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Clean driving record is required for occasional travel to client sites.
