Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end/quarterly close processes efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile complex bank statements to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cash flow and improve budget forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- CPA certification or CMA designation preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
