Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, identifying variances and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews to ensure compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date internal controls and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
