We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. We value accuracy, transparency, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing for both state and federal requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and documentation to support regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
