Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Reconciliation: Perform complex bank reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and general ledger reviews.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior accountants and collaborate cross-functionally with the operations and sales departments.
- Payroll Support: Assist in month-end close procedures including payroll variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Software: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
