Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and budgets.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with GAAP and local regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and internal control implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet tight deadlines.
