Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for corporate clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance
- Develop tax strategies and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling
- Mentor junior accountants using industry-leading software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting experience with Big 4 or equivalent
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and audit procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analytics tools
- Proven ability to manage high-volume financial operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Texas CPA license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting a plus
