Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Collaborate seamlessly with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Streamline financial reporting workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
