Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash flow forecasting
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and financial planning
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Support external audits and provide financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Active Georgia CPA license or eligible to obtain within 6 months
