Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and budgeting forecasts.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and GAAP regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
