Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Ohio tax regulations
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills
