Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse business entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow optimization
- Coordinate external audits and maintain SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations
- Experience with ERP implementations (NetSuite/Sage)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
