Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with audit teams and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders
- Leverage accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) to streamline financial operations
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements
- Advanced skills in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
