Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and internal audits to identify discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure optimal cash flow.
- Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
