Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Prepare and review complex tax filings, compliance documents, and audit schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on GAAP/IFRS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
