Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives to support strategic decisions
- Conduct complex account reconciliations and internal control audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and tax preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Expert understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Colorado tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and reporting
- Proven ability to lead complex accounting projects and mentor junior staff
