Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 mid-sized clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead tax planning and preparation for corporate clients
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Mentor junior accountants on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage a plus)
- Active Ohio CPA license required
