Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial audits
- Support budget preparation and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and filings
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
