Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Manage tax compliance filings and support external audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and QuickBooks Online
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
