Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for corporate and individual clients
- Develop financial models and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain client relationships through clear financial reporting and consultation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience managing accounting teams or mentoring junior professionals
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven track record in error resolution
- Remote work proficiency with strong time management and communication skills
