Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee AP/AR processes with emphasis on vendor management and cash flow optimization
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental and cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with leadership team on financial strategy and process improvements
- Maintain internal controls and audit readiness documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100/300 preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state compliance and tax reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Exceptional communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
