As a key member of our finance team, you'll manage complex financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to leadership. We value precision, integrity, and proactive problem-solving in this hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office weekly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Prepare detailed financial statements and regulatory compliance documents
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
