Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate with IRS/state authorities
- Implement and optimize internal controls for audit readiness
- Mentor junior accountants on technical accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Develop customized financial models and forecasting tools for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 4+ years of public accounting experience in a mid-size firm
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of tax regulations and audit procedures
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong client relationship management abilities
