Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Lead internal control audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capital
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
