Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ portfolio clients including AR/AP, GL maintenance, and month-end closes
- Prepare complex financial statements with variance analysis and regulatory compliance
- Lead audit processes for multi-million dollar entities and tax planning initiatives
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online and Sage 500 systems
- Train junior staff on GAAP standards and internal controls
- Develop client-specific financial models for growth forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA license or active pursuit (required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of CA tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Proven track record with SEC filings and audit coordination
- CMA or MBA preferred
- Strong analytical and client management abilities
