Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement internal control improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
