Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting forecasting initiatives
- Lead financial audits and prepare documentation for external review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada state tax codes
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
