Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement best practices across the department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements in accounting operations
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet tight deadlines
