Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with zero material errors
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial reporting for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to optimize cash flow
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate external audit engagements and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in audit preparation and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
