Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with 99.9% accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ corporate clients
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models driving $50M+ portfolios
- Ensure GAAP compliance while identifying tax optimization opportunities
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial training system
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial audits
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making track record
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
