Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliations, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings and regulatory documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency
- Lead audit preparation processes and respond to management inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
