Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting documentation
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proven track record of process optimization and audit readiness
