Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial forecasting and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
