Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with weekly disbursement
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across all financial operations
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors quarterly
- Develop process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
