Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Analyze financial statements and variance reports for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with CA regulations
- Lead financial audits and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate GL accounts and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of public accounting experience in California
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax codes
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
