Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end close processes
- Lead internal control initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Optimize accounting workflows and implement best practices
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle) and Excel
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliation processes
