Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and auditors
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental operations
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
