Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Maintain meticulous documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (including advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative in process improvement
