Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Lead process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
- Experience with nonprofit or government accounting preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
