Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and process improvements
- Coordinate external audits and maintain internal controls documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business strategy
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional team collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
