Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with 3+ years of hands-on experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Support external audits and tax compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with data visualization skills
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
