Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audit coordination and SOX documentation
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
- Maintain robust internal controls documentation
- Present financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (NetSuite preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in financial services or investment industry preferred
