Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and controls for operational efficiency
- Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Oregon state tax codes
- Proven track record in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit support
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
