Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with executive-level insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls for financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems with strict attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end/quarter-end closes with accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in tech/startup environment highly desirable
