Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with internal and external audits while ensuring SOX compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial audits and reporting cycles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
